It is the second to last home at the end of a road that becomes Prescott National Forest. It sits on acre, mostly in front. It has a nice, shady sitting area on the entrance side and is visited by many creatures, ranging from hummers and chipmunks to deer who are used to being given water and even bring their fawns. It was built in 1961 and remodeled with an addition in 1985. Below the deck is a huge amount of storage added in 2017. The exterior was fully painted in 2018. The roof was replaced in 2005 and is in excellent condition. The road behind the house is only used by the water meter reader monthly and Utilities vehicles on very rare occasion. The neighbors are great and mostly keep to themselves, but are very nice and will help any time they are needed. We were contemplating adding on a garage and another bedroom and bathroom so the footings trench for that renovation has already been completed, but our plans changed and we are away more often than at home. Our elevation is 6436 so we have very mild summers and occasional snow in the winter, which melts off fairly quickly due to the fact that the property is south facing. It is a very quiet and peaceful neighborhood, but only 20 minutes to groceries and other shopping. We are sad to leave, but ministry and other endeavors call us to the Phoenix area for an extended period so we feel it is time to let it go.
